Man breaks window to steal cigarettes
Von buycigarettes, 16:00Police are asking for help to identify a man who broke into Capitol Market near downtown Salem. Salem Police Lt. Steve Birr said the man broke a window to get into the business at 1410 State St. about 4:30 a.m. Nov. 4.
The man took only cigarettes. The suspect was wearing a dark color fedora, dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants with rips and black shoes. He had a light color bandana over his face and was carrying a backpack, Birr said.
